The 1962 through 1966 Chevrolet trucks were part of the first generation of C/K trucks, and they were starting to lose their large truck appearance. They were also getting things like air conditioning and more performance. If you are restoring or customizing one of the trucks and you have added a 238, you will want to add the finishing touch to the engine compartment by adding the high torque 283 valve cover decal to your engine. The high torque 283 is a small block engine that Chevy built for more performance, and it is a revisit to the original 265 V8 engines of 1955. This V8 is an optional engine in the 1960s truck line, and if you have dropped one of these in the compartment of your truck, you want to show it off.
